At Fitzroy Caravans we have a range of rental caravans available.  We have a minimum 3 night hire period and our prices may change over the Christmas and New Year season.  Most of our rentals are 4 berth and come with an option of having an awning for extra space.  Our rental caravans do not include toilet or shower, however we have a range of portaloo options available for sale.

Fitzroy Caravans can tow to your site for an additional charge.  If you are towing to site yourself the caravan may not be towed outside Taranaki.

Our rental caravans have been very popular for short holidays or as a long term option. 
Rental Charges:
  • Nightly (minimum 3 nights)
 $80.00 per night
  • Weekly (1 - 3 Weeks)
 $70.00 per night
  • Short Term (3 weeks -3 months)
 $250.00 per week
  • Long Term (3 months +)
 $80.00 - $120.00 per week
Surcharges may be applicable over Public Holiday periods.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. 

Full canvas awnings are available for an extra charge of $10 extra per night or $30.00 per week if rental term is over 3 weeks.

Rental Terms & Conditions

Long Term:
  •  2 weeks bond and 1 week in advance to be paid on confirmation of booking.
  •  Long term rental over 3 months or at the discretion of Fitzroy Caravans 2009 Ltd. If the rental is terminated prior to the agreed rental period, the hirer is liable for a one off early termination fee of $150.
  • If rental is terminated due to payment default or damage the hirer is responsible for all costs incurred including towing and any other fees associated with the rental.
  • Fitzroy Caravans2009 Ltd reserves the right to inspect the caravan at any time and to terminate the rental agreement if there is any damage incurred or failure of weekly payments. The hirer shall pay for any damage including any window breakages and shall inform Fitzroy Caravans 2009 Ltd as soon as damage occurs.
  •  Smoking is not permitted in the caravan at any time.
  • Animals are not permitted in the caravan at any time.
  • The hirer shall ensure that the caravan is securely locked when not in use. 
  • The hirer shall advise Fitzroy Caravans 2009 Ltd of the whereabouts of the caravan at all times.
  • The hirer shall not sublet the caravan under any circumstances nor use the caravan for any unlawful purpose.
  • The hirer shall leave the caravan clean and tidy and clear of all rubbish and possessions at the end of the hire term.
  • Any breach of the above terms and conditions will result in loss of the bond. 
Short Term:
  • 10% non refundable deposit to be paid on confirmation of booking.
  • Minimum 3 night rental.
  • All costs incurred due to breakdown and/ or towing are at the expense of the hirer.
  • It is the hirers responsibility to be aware and in compliance with all New Zealand Land Transport Agency rules and regulations.
  • If rental is terminated prior to the agreed term of hire the hirer is responsible for all costs incurred for towing and any other fees associated with the rental.
  • Fitzroy Caravans 2009 Ltd reserves the right to inspect the caravan at any time and to terminate the rental agreement if there is any damage incurred. Any damages shall be the responsibility of the hirer. This includes any window breakages.
  • The hirer shall accept responsibility for all parking and traffic violations.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the caravan at any time.
  • Animals are not permitted in the caravan at any time.
  • The hirer shall ensure that the caravan is securely locked when not in use.
  • The hirer shall advise Fitzroy Caravans 2009 Ltd of the whereabouts of the caravan at all times. 
  • The hirer shall leave the caravan clean and tidy and clear of all rubbish and possessions at the end of the hire term.
  • Any breach of the above terms and conditions will result in loss of the bond.
